*Team*

The Senior Account Manager role will be responsible for renewing and expanding a portfolio of large existing customers. The role is equal parts relationship management, sales and client satisfaction. We believe that keeping our existing customers is just as important as acquiring new ones. This role will manage an assigned set of customers with a focus on staying organized to renew existing contracts, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue in your portfolio, and expand the number of relationships within accounts to strengthen our partnership. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders (Customer Success, Customer Success Engineers, Marketing, Product Managers, Leadership) and external stakeholders (Communications, HR, IT, Operations) to drive the renewal and expansion motion.

Your ability to clearly articulate our value proposition, remain organized to close renewals on-time, and collaborate with internal and external teams to support the expansion motion will be well rewarded.

*Missions*

  • Own the renewal and expansion process for enterprise and large enterprise accounts
  • Collaborate with internal resources (Customer Success, Product Management, Leadership) to deliver business reviews and develop comprehensive 'win' strategies for renewals and expansion
  • Discover customer needs, uncover concerns, and learn wider organizational initiatives through quarterly business reviews and proactive touch points
  • Identify account upsell and cross-sell opportunities, strengthen customer champions, and align our platform to customer’s high priority business objectives
  • Demonstrate account management and commercial negotiation strategies
  • Drive renewal process and the creation of proposals
  • Leverage Salesforce to maintain an accurate pipeline, Clari for forecasting and Planhat to define account strategic plans

*Skills*

  • Fluent in Swiss German
  • Background in sales/account management with experience in running a full sales cycle with large enterprises
  • Strong understanding of sales discovery framework
  • Ability to identify pilots, build business cases, negotiate, and win pilot conversions
  • Flexibility to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Strong sense of curiosity with a passion for learning and helping others
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze data to address customer situations
  • A minimum of 3+ years of closing experience in Sales or Account Management
  • Bachelor’s degree

Bonus points

  • Experience selling into HR, IT, Operations, Communications
  • Experience selling into frontline industries (Manufacturing, Retails, Construction)
  • Experience with large enterprise customers and portfolios larger than $4 million
  • Understanding of Challenger Customer Framework & Winning By Design principles
  • Experience with Salesforce, Clari, Planhat, ZoomInfo, and Google Suite
  • Working experience in Tech SaaS or high growth companies
