We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our dynamic and growing InfoSec team.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Security Operations
- Manage endpoint protection and EDR tooling across the organization
- Administer zero-trust networking and identity tools
- Collaborate with IT on identity and access management (IAM) strategy and execution
- Monitor corporate environments for threats and anomalies
- Leverage automation and AI-driven tools to streamline security operations, reduce manual effort, and enhance threat detection and response capabilities
Security Awareness and Support
- Manage security training and phishing simulation programs
- Respond to internal security requests and support tickets
- Help improve the user experience of security tools and processes
- Support operational security tooling and workflows
Threat Detection & Response
- Lead incident response planning, execution, and post-incident reviews
- Own threat intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination
- Coordinate cross-functional response efforts during security events
- Identify and resolve root causes of recurring security issues
Metrics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track metrics (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security controls
- Report security posture, risks, and trends to leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility, automation, and scalability of security operations
About You:
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in corporate IT or security engineering
- Hands-on experience with endpoint protection, EDR, and network security tools
- Familiarity with Zscaler, IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Entra ID), and phishing simulation tools
- Experience leading or participating in incident response and threat intelligence programs
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, HR, and other business teams
- Passion for improving security operations and building resilient systems

Base pay offered is contingent on qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is just one piece of the full compensation structure offered at Tango. If this pay range is outside of your expectations, we still encourage you to apply and have a conversation with us.
Base pay offered for this position is: $110,000 – 125,000
