This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except for the State of Alaska, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Employees located within 50 miles of a BHN office will be considered a "Hybrid" employee and are required to come into the office 2 days per week based on office schedule.

Overview:

The Sr. Merchant Database Administrator will be responsible for building and maintaining merchant data into internal platforms. They will manage a variety of filter databases across all networks used for operation of all Prepaid Card products. He or she will partner with the team to evaluate and classify merchant violations. This role will report into the Director, Product Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist team with management of merchant data input into internal databases.
  • Cleans and maintains databases under supervision
  • Evaluate and classify merchant violations
  • Review data and build reports for internal analysis and partner reviews
  • Manipulate data in Excel (ability to use formulas)
  • Formulate data for input into established templates
  • Sets-up and test new products to ensure seamless acceptance at the point of sale.
  • Review all branding materials for merchant and product accuracy.
  • Data Entry into various databases that are supported by team
  • Research and resolve cardholder issues at the point of sale
  • Work closely with other team members on various projects and duties

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word (Advanced) and Excel (Advanced)
  • Experience utilizing database applications (i.e. MS Access)
  • Ability to excel and manage priorities in high pressure situations and with shifting priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Well-organized. Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize time.
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Process oriented
  • Proven experience in problem solving and resolving merchant/card issues

Benefits:

Salary Range for all U.S. Residents (excluding Alaska, California, North Dakota, South Dakota): $78,220.00 to $101,700.00

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $118,657.00 to $131,500.00
