Reports to: Sr. Director, Operations
We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager to play a key role in monitoring and managing the risk exposure of our Irish entity, GVS Prepaid Europe (GVSPE).Working closely with the Head of Risk, you will support the ongoing development and implementation of the Risk Management Framework and take ownership of maintaining and enhancing the risk register.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of risk management principles, be comfortable working in a developing framework, and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment where influence and initiative are encouraged.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Risk in embedding an effective enterprise risk management function across GVSPE through practical, professional risk guidance.
- Identify and communicate emerging internal and external risk factors, including regulatory and market developments within the e‑money sector.
- Maintain the enterprise risk register, perform risk assessments, and analyse key operational and business processes to identify and assess risk exposures.
- Provide input on the design and effectiveness of risk controls and contribute to risk management policies, procedures, and guidance documentation.
- Prepare risk management reports and management information to support oversight and decision‑making.
- Support the ongoing development and use of risk management systems and tools, including liaison with relevant stakeholders and system administration duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Ability to analyse operational and business processes to identify risk weaknesses and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Degree (or equivalent professional experience) in financial services, business, or a related discipline.
- Relevant qualification in risk management, or actively working towards one.
- Practical experience supporting enterprise risk management activities and applying risk management frameworks within an organisation.
- Experience working with risk management software, including supporting users and contributing to system effectiveness.
- Strong analytical, written, and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality work to agreed deadlines and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
