This role focuses on investigating and resolving settlement variances for complex clients to ensure accurate, automated reporting, invoicing, and payments. The analyst will also provide training and guidance to internal teams and external partners on the functionality and navigation of our transaction rating system.
Gift card settlement transactions represent a significant portion of Blackhawk’s core revenue and involve complex data processing and reconciliation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve settlement queries, ensuring system set‑ups align with contractual terms and SLAs.
  • Analyse settlement data by running and interrogating transactional reports, delivering clear insights and analytical outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally (Settlement, Accounting, IT, Onboarding, New Business and Project teams) to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

  • Proven ability to analyse, manipulate, and interpret large volumes of data accurately.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to understand processes end to end.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong SQL skills, with Access and Lucidchart experience desirable.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Highly self‑motivated and resourceful team player, able to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt in a rapidly changing environment, with strong communication skills.

We seek candidates who not only demonstrate curiosity and adaptability in emerging technologies but have also successfully implemented and utilized AI tools to enhance their work, improve processes, or deliver measurable results. Our teams embrace continuous learning and the thoughtful integration of AI to create meaningful impact – for our employees and the future of work.

Benefits:

  • Work-Life Balance: 25 days annual leave, birthday time off, and volunteering leave.
  • Health & Well-being: Private medical insurance, employee assistance program, enhanced parental leave, and free eye tests.
  • Financial Rewards: Group income protection, pension scheme, and exclusive discounts with our bYond card.
  • Flexibility & Engagement: Office group activities and support for physical and mental health.
  • Recognition: Participate in Flyers, our leading recognition program with financial rewards.
